House Rules

  1. No admittance to persons under the age of 19 years. Picture identification is required.

  2. Only Bingo patrons and gaming staff are permitted in the bingo playing area.

  3. Bingo play is not permitted in section “closed” areas of the hall or outside the playing area. All bingo cards must stay on the premises.

  4. The use of cellphones is not permitted while bingo is in progress.

  5. Only one electronic terminal per player is permitted.

  6. Dabbers only may be used to mark paper bingo cards.

  7. A “regular session” is a booklet session. A minimum purchase of a 6up is required to participate in any other games or specials during a regular session. Proof of booklet purchase is required to receive a prize payout.

  8. Books will not be sold during a regular session once 50% of a booklet has been played. Book sales will close once the GREY sheet has commenced.

  9. Players are responsible to ensure a bingo is heard by the caller and before another number is called or third and final call is completed. No bingo will be honoured after a game has been closed.

  10. The ball in the monitor is not in play until the letter and the number is called. Once a letter or number has been called, the call must be completed.

  11. An electronic player must touch the dab square on the screen to declare bingo.

  12. Once bingo has been called in a combination game, another number must be called before the next game is valid.

  13. No bingo will be honoured if a card has been altered or re-dabbed in anyway. Damaged cards must be reported to staff immediately.

  14. Bonanza will pay a $50.00 consolation prize if a “full card” is called within the 50 number precall, that card will then be void.

  15. On the second call of any game, the last number called must appear on the card.

  16. Double pay cards/ books do not apply to special or jackpot games.

  17. All singles or speed bingo cards not in play must remain face down. Cards face up will be considered in play once the first number of a game is called. Cards face up or marked may be confiscated.

  18. Multiple winners on a single game will each receive a share of the prize payout calculated on a single pay card. Double or Triple pay winners will receive double or triple the calculated single pay share.

  19. The series, audit and card number of each bingo card must be visible at all times to ensure the validity of the card.

  20. It is the player’s responsibility to use the proper coloured card for the game in progress. All cards purchased for a game must be played on that game during that specified session. No refunds will be issued for unplayed cards.

  21. Bingo cards will only be sold in sequential order and will not be sold once a game has commenced. Once card sales have been closed, no other card will be sold for that game.

  22. Players must notify staff immediately if they experience a problem with gaming equipment or an electronic bingo terminal.

  23. Electronic bingo accounts must cashed out and will automatically close at the end of each business day. Accounts will not carry over to the next day.

  24. Rules and game conditions for all jackpot games, progressive games, promotions, contests and draws are available at the bingo cage.

  25. Any dispute with respect to the outcome of a game, payment of prize or procedure must be reported prior to the end of a bingo session.

  26. A dispute will be resolved according to BCLC Rules and Regulations, Policies and Procedures and House Rules.

  27. All prizes must be accepted as awarded.

  28. Persons residing at the same residence of an employee of Maple Ridge Community Gaming Centre are not eligible to participate in any promotional bingo game, draw or contest sponsored by MRCGC.

  29. Money may not be lent or borrowed in or on facility property.

  30. Management reserves the right to refuse admission or service to anyone. Access will be denied to persons under the influence of drugs/alcohol.

  31. Disruptive and/or dishonest behavior will be immediately reported to authorities.

  32. Management is not responsible for losses due to technical failure or system malfunction.

  33. Management and staff are not responsible for lost or stolen items including bingo cards.

  34. Management is not responsible for any personal loss or injury.

Bingo Gaming is governed by The Criminal Code of Canada, Rules and Regulations respecting Lottery and Gaming of BCLC, BCLC Bingo Standards, Policies and Procedures and The Gaming Control Act.
